toolbar removal

Win XP Home SP0

There is an unlabeled toolbar. I want to remove it.
I've scanned for viri & spyware. Please do not go down that path.

I want to know where, if it exists, in the registry, I can a list of the
toolbars.

Yes, I have unchecked "lock the toolbar".
