Tif files turn black in powerpoint after saving

Hi, I am inserting tif images into powerpoint (2003). Upon saving and
reopening the file, all my images appear black and they can not be turned
back to their original optic. Anyone has a suggestion?

Thanks

I've never liked TIFF files. Too many flavors / variations on a spec.

Convert your TIFs to PNG or JPGs.
