I can send Emails and post to the newsgroups but cannot forward messages to
anyone from newsgroups? is this one of Vista's "new" features? Luckly I still
have my XP machine to work with effeciently. I am regretting buying windows
Vista, I should of bought an Apple. NONE of my old programs will work with
this "improvement" and they are Ms products, I already had two viruses and
one tracking cookie in less than a month!

I have no answers for you, but I will say that it is still very early in the
game to simply dismiss Vista. I don't know if you remember but XP took a
while to catch on. This is how many months since its release? And let's look
at the longevity of the OS. It will likely last 6-7 years. Give it some time
to gain popularity and have all the bugs worked out for Christ's sake. I
mean honestly, the training guide for the Vista certification exam isn't
even out yet, and businesses won't be upgrading to Vista for another 2 or 3
years. Cut MS some slack, huh? All will work properly in due time.

Which means I will be out of business in "short time" if it takes two to
three years to work out the bugs, imagine the car dealership tell you the
same thing on your new HUMMER? I think NOT I paid upfront money for an ITEM
that I have to wait to be completely oprational? They didn't put a disclaimer
that "this HP laptop may not fully work as you expect it to", so only pay
half now and WHEN we get the bugs worked out then pay the other half. NO I
paid for a computer to work completely from day one. If MS didin't want to
release the code for third party vendors to be able to bring their equipment
up to specs then it is MS fault no one else. Bring in the people certify the
equipment and produce a list of known items that will work. My wife's new
Gateway had a cert pending on the box when it sold after the roll out date,
everything stickered "was supposed" to be compatable, my HP came loaded with.
Bottom line MS/HP has my money and I have a laptop that doesn't work at
times, and I can never tell when that's going to happen. LAST MS/HP product I
will buy, I will change my whole music recording studio over to MAC's and
Apple Never again will I buy a MS/HP based product. It's not like Ms started
working on this last month, Bill Gates is trying to reverse engineer Apple
Computers and top them. MS products are undengineered and over priced and the
software is over hyped and over priced, this "NEW" system is like a Yugo
JUNK!.

2Gig Ram 160 gigHD "supposed to run Windows XP Media"
