My ISP is Comcast. I have a Comcast POP3 account on Windows Mail and I am
trying to add an Gmail IMAP account to it, but I cannot import my IMAP
folders.
Hard to say without more details. Do you get an error message when
you try to send? If so, right-click on the error message, copy, then paste
it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without that complete error message.
I just experienced the same problem and followed the hint to uncheck the
secure password box. I use charter.net primary and "Bingo" everything loads
and works fine.

I also receive the same error message. I am trying to set up gmail and have
followed the imap instructions to the letter...port numbers, authentication
boxes, & etc. Prior to the "non-network" verbage, it states: "General
authentication failed. None of the authentication methods supported by your
IMAP servor (if any) are supported on the computer."
