The tops of my letters are being cut off in new documents - help!

I am finding that when I open a new document and start typing that the tops
of the characters (letters) are cut off (so you can only see the bottom half
of the word). Does anyone know what this is?

It's probably that the line spacing in the default paragraph style (Normal
style) is set to some Exact value. It should be an At Least value.
