Text Alignement in PPT 2007

When opening a 2003 presentation, I have noticed that the text appears almost
as superscript, but in the correct size. For example, if I had a picture with
a caption, the caption would appear about half a centimeter above where it is
in 2003. It also has a tendancy to cut off the top of the next line of text
if there is text below it. Is there any way to stop this from happening?

Please try the suggestion here. We'd really love to know if it works. We're
seeing lots of posts about "overlapping text" when people open 2003 files in
2007, and we'd really like to get to the bottom of them!

Problem solved. I changed my default printer and the text suddenly sorted
itself out.

Thanks for the tip.

Exactly the same problem, swapped my default printer and it seems to work fine.
Out of interest do you have any special options ticked, i.e. duplex? Mine
was a sharp printer.
Thanks

No special options ticked at all. Mine was a network printer, a RICOH Aficio
1045. I am glad that I wasn't the only one who had this problem!

has there been any further development on this?
I don't think changing the default printer is an actual fix, I assume there
is a bug in PP07?
I print to that printer 90% of the time, so I would like to use it as my
default.

If anyone knowss anything please let me know.
Thanks

Sorry, I'm not aware of any further updates.

Does the printer you prefer to use as the default have a certified driver
available for it?

It is a sharp, and according to that windows marketplace link, there is no
certified driver available for any sharp, which strikes me as slightly odd!!

Wow, that is odd. Maybe take a look on the Sharp site -- or maybe there's a
"contact us" link on the Sharp site where you can ask them specifically?
