temporary paging file

to begin with...I was getting memory low message......Virtual memory
problems.....I read post on this site and printed and followed instructions
to change size of virtual memory paging file.
Went into system and it will not let me change paging file. Says 0..... When
I did try and then rebooted. I get to the welcome page and have to reboot to
get to desktop then I get message ....windows created a temp paging file
because of problem with paging file config....
I have repeated the steps 10 times....I have tried to put in my figures
......I have tried to let the system pick.....nothing ...0....
Can someone help?
