.temp file obstruction

today, when trying to re-install a game I have had on my system, the
following temp file failure message came forth:

_is4b.temp encountered a problem and needs to close.thus stopping my
install. If I try again, a new temp file folder, such as _is4c.temp
encountered a problem and needs to close.....and on and on

I have never had such a problem, whats disappeared or been accidently deleted?

BY THE WAY, I HAVE TRIED %TEMP%, AND ALL DISK CLEANING METHODSAND IT STILL
CONTINUES , AFTER ALL THAT....

Normally files with a temp or tmp extension are not executable.

Update your antivirus software and run a full system scan.

Do the same for whatever anti-spyware applications that you have.
