Taskbar buttons yellow?

Ok,... for a while my taskbar buttons of open programs would flash
yellow. For instance, if I turn on a program pushing a button on my keyboard,
or If I "printed" to Paperport from a web page, instead of going to
paperport I would have to click on the flashing yellow taskbar button. (I
didn't like it) Now for some reason it works as It should, no flashing
yellow program buttons. What setting did I change?, If I wanted the flashing
yellow buttons back, how would I set it to do that?

I think apps in Taskbar flash when they cant get the
focus. Whether they get focus or not can be set in
TweakUI under Active Mouse or Mouse or somthing in that
area.

Any advise is my attempt to contribute more than I have received but I can only assure you that it works on my PC. GOOD LUCK.

You can toggle this behaviour in TweakUI > General > Focus. TweakUi is
available from
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx.

I found this on the web http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/540/
it tells about program focus etc... I think I know how it was changed
without my tweaking anything. I have recently downloaded and readily use
"MailWasher Pro5" and one of the program features is to automatically go to
your desired email client after "washing" the spam, and it probably set the
'ForegroundLockTimeout' in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop to "0"
for me so the email program would pop open, not wait.
