Task Scheduler in XP?!!?

Account information could not be set and error
0x80070005 "Access is Denied" when setting XP task
scheduler to do anything. And i am setting with domain
admin username and pw! wtf?!!?

Any ideas? Microsoft's knowledge base and support crap
have nothing about it.

Step 1: Reinstall the Task Schedule Services

1. Click "start" > click "run" > enter "c:\windows\inf"
2. Right click on the "mstask.inf" and choose "install"
(You will be prompted to insert the
Windows XP CD).
3. After reinstalling, restart and check again.

Step 2: Safe Mode

1. If any scheduled task exists currently, please right
each task and click delete to remove
them.
2. Restart the computer.
3. Keep pressing the F8 key until the Windows Startup
menu appears.
4. Choose Safe Mode, and press Enter.
5. Start the computer into Safe Mode.
6. Please run scheduled task wizard again to test the
issue.
