Task menu

I have been using Windows XP from the beginning and the Task Bar Menu has
always been along the bottom and on the left hand side. Now all of a
sudden, (I have no idea what I must have done), there is nothing on the
bottom and it runs down the right hand side and takes up room on the desk top.

I know this sounds petty and I am sure I would get used to it, but I really
did prefer it in the original position. It is such a mystery, and you have
no idea how frustrating it has been trying to move it back. I have spent
hours on such a silly little thing.

Hope someone can help me.

Right-click the taskbar & make sure that it's unlocked.
Place your cursor within the taskbar(not on the edge) & drag it straight down & to
the left.

YES YES YES Thank you so much Gary. It did not want to be dragged down at
first but after a few encouraging words, down it came. All is normal in my
world again. Well at least for awhile. I think the "unlocking" of the task
bar was the key. Thank you again.

You're very welcome, Kerry.
To help to keep it from happening again, I would be sure & lock it back while it's
down where you want it.
