Start menu has moved

Somehow I accidentally moved my start menu which alway sits at the bottom
left hand corner and it is now on the right side of the screen and taking up
half my screen instead of the general half an inch it takes up in the bottom
left hand corner! I am such an idiot. Could someone please tell me how to
restore it to its normal position. I've tried everything and can't get it
back to normal. Thanks so much.

Hi

Try a System Restore back to a point before the problem started.

Dear John,

This happened because your taskbar wasn't locked. I will come back to that
later. To move the taskbar back to the bottom of the screen, just click and
drag. Make sure that the taskbar isn't locked by right clicking on it and
checking that there isn't a check mark to the left of "Lock the Taskbar".
Then left click somewhere where there isn't a button and move your mouse back
to the bottom of the screen. The taskbar should follow. To prevent this from
happening again, right click on the taskbar and check "Lock the Taskbar". I
hope this helps.
