Task Manager & Norton Antivirus 2005

Ricky

I have Norton Antivirus 2005 installed and I schedule daily scans. However,
it doesn't run and in Task manager it says "could not start" after the
scheduled time. I've checked everything and task scheduler works perfectly.
In fact it's running Symantec Net Detect every 4 hours, but doesn't run the
Virus Scans. I've tried deleting the schedule, rebooting and creating it
again to no avail. I have other computers running XP and Norton Antivirus
2005 and they work perfectly in Task manager. I don't use any passwords
either. I've read all the info in Norton's knowledge base too.
I am not a novice computer user and am stumped. Anyone out there know what
the fix is?
Thanks

Yes, use something other than Norton antivirus 2005.
