Norton One Button Checkup Won't Run Automatically - Task Sched Pro

Although I have Norton One Button Checkup scheduled to run daily, it never
does so. But if I run it manually, it works fine. I called Norton and after
waiting for approximately two hours was able to talk to a tech who said this
is not Norton's problem. The problem is that my task scheduler is not
working properly. He helped me dhut down and restart task scheduler, to no
avail. He suggested I call Microsoft and gave me a numbe that he assured me
would result in a conversation with a live person. The number was a red
herring, of course - their general sales number.

Can anybody point me toward a possible solution to this problem?

If the task is being run from Task Scheduler ..
Task scheduler may require a password protected user to make it work
correctly. If you are not using a password to logon, may have to add a user
account with a password and then use that account as the authorizing user
for the task.

Tech doc is for Systemworks 2003. I have Systemworks 2005. There is no
General Tab under Options, so I cannot follow instructions.

Thanks.
