TASK MANAGER DISPLAY WON'T STAY UP

Everytime I obtain the Task Manager Display, either by
doing a Ctrl-Alt-Del, it appears for an instant and then
disappears and a small green square shows up in the
lowever right task bar. If I click on it, it just
disappears.

Can anybody help?

I had the same problem. You might find the same behavior executing
REGEDIT. It was a virus in my case. After cleaning it the problem
disappeared.
