Task Manager "Access Denied"

N

Nate

I have Windows XP Home and I cannot end system processes or change their
priority. I used to be able to but now I can't, it says "Unable to change
priority--access denied". I downloaded the Remote Task Manager but I don't
want to have a program installed just to do that. I'd like to just be able
to Ctrl+Alt+Delete and change priorty and end system tasks in Windows' Task
Manager. What can I do to be able to end and change the priority for system
tasks again?? Thanks
