Task bar moved off screen

Ever since I installed the last set of updates to XP, my
task bar has disappeared off the bottom of the screen and
none of the usual things will bring it back. I can get
the double-headed arrow on the top edge of the task bar
(that's all of it I can see) but dragging that up wont re-
size the bar back onto the screen. I've tried changing
all of the settings a few times in the hope that it will
trigger something but no luck. Any ideas anyone?
