\system32\ntoskrnl.exe error

Hello!

In a Windows 2000 server with the "<windows 2000
root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe" error message at boot up
time...what is the best way to get the system back up?

I don't have that issue at the moment but I recall it has
happened to other colleages.
