System Restore failure

A

Alyn Essman

Each time I try to restore I receive a message
that "system restore incomplete. Cannot restore to that
date. If you would like to try another date...."

Each date I used was bold and had been used for a
previously successful restoration.

Thanks for any advice.

Alyn;
There may be corrupted data in system Restore.
Turn off/on System Restore to delete corrupted files:
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.
Click System Restore Settings on left side.
Check "Turn off System Restore", click OK, follow prompts and reboot.
This deletes ALL Restore Points including corruption.
Then go back and turn on system Restore and create a Restore Point.

Ok I did what you asked and still no luck. I started from
scratch and followed throught to your last reply. If you
have any other suggestion, I would appreciate it.
