Hi,

I am using XP Pro., and from approx 25 seconds after start up, after the
inital Windows screen with the flashing bar has disappeared, my system is
hanging for about 70 seconds (according to Bootvis).

Does anybody know why this would happen, and how I can get a faster system
start up?

In all it is taking me 105 seconds to boot, and I am getting a blank black
screen.

I have tried disabling Background Intelligent Transfer, but this has made no
difference.

Thanks,

Elton

After making sure the system is clear of malware do some clean boot
