System File Checker

I have tried to use System File Checker Tool today and it refuses to recognize my XP Install Disk when there is a .dll to install. I ran it from RUN sfc /scannow . I do have other XP Computers here but I know this is the only Upgrade so I had right Disk. Ideas? Thanks
