SVCHOST using 99% of CPU for 10 minutes

After logging onto the PC (Win XP SP1) all appears ok for about 1 to 2
minutes then SCVHOST runs NTLDLL.DLL!RtPcToFileHeader+0x352 which take up 99%
of the CPU for 8 to 10 minutes before it ceases and the PC returns to normal.
This detail was discovered by running the Process Explorer downloaded from
Microsoft's website. Does anyone know what this is, why it's doing what it
does and can I get rid of this happening? Many thanks.

Thank you Robear, I will try this and let you know the result. As a matter of
interest what is stored in these folders and why do I not need them? Thanks
again, Chris

"Stuff" you downloaded from Windows Update. Next time you check in at
Windows Update (or Automatic Update runs), any needed, missing data will be
replaced.
