svchost.exe windows 2000

i am getting a lot of problems with my windows 2000. This
only started 2 days ago. it keeps saying that svchost.exe
has generated errors. i cannot copy, paste or transfer
files. The folders open but do not show anything. Internet
doesnt work properly etc.

PLEASE HELP! I would be very greatful for any help,
comments tips etc.

You have the blaster worm! Get rid of it today before it
automatically updates itself on the sixteenth of August.
Go to Symantec.com and follow their instructions, good
luck! I just sent you this post via email also.
