Errors With SVCHOST.EXE

1. Why am I getting this program error message using
Windows 2000?

PROGRAM ERROR
Svchost.exe has generated errors & will be closed by
Windows. You will need to restart program. Error log
generated….

2. How do I restart the “svchost.exe” program?
3. How can I fix this error from occurring?

If you check the newsgroup a bit more carefully you'll see about a
thousand entries for this problem, there's been one posted since. You've
got Welchia and had Blaster. Download the removal tools from
www.symantec.com and then update windows from windowsupdate. Then download
and run DCOMbobulator. you'll find it if you search for it in google.
