SurfSideKick

I remove this everyday, using the MS AntiSpyware beta,
the next day it shows up again.

Is there something else I can do like block the sites it
accesses for ads?

thanks,

Hi

First send a suspected spyware report to MS about this, menu tools
within MSAS.

I believe A.squared removes this one:

Adware.SurfSide.b
Adware.SurfSide.c
AdWare.SurfSide.d
AdWare.SurfSide.i

Unfortunately, MS Antispyware is not the "catch-all"
spyware tool it should be. Surfsidekick has been out for
a while now and Giant, nor MS has addressed this Trojan.
1) Install and update both ad-aware and spybot search &
destroy.

2) TURN OFF SYSTEM RESTORE.

3) Reboot into safe mode and run ad-aware first, then
spybot.

This should get rid of surfsidekick.
