subweb shared border gifs

Thanks for all you help! FP2002
All of a sudden when I publish changes to my main site
every gif in any of my subweb shared borders vanish. I'm
left with the dreaded little box with the x.
When I publish the main site I do not have the publish
subwebs box checked. I prefer to open and publish them
seperatly when needed.
Now I have to publish every subweb seperatly after
publishing to the main site. This literally started about
an hour ago.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank-You,
Ron McIntire

Are the shared borders and images used in the subweb, in the subweb? If not,
they should be since each subweb is a fully independent web site.

The images in question are not in the image folder but
they are in the _borders folder. In one of the subwebs
none of the images are in the image folder. What is the
easiest way to pull them off of the main site and put them
in the subweb image folder and then redo all the links?
Thank-You,
