Streets 98

Hello,

A Friend of mine got a new computer with Vista Home Premium on it.

She also has Microsoft Expedia Streets 98, she installed it on her computer
over the weekend, and when she went to open the application, it said
something about the pushpins being wrong, and to try to restart the computer
and run the program again.

My First Question: Is Streets 98 Even compatible with Vista?? I looked on
Vista's program compatibility list, but I didn't find it... So I'm kind of
hoping that it is, and nobody reported it yet, or something like that...

My Second Question: Is there anyway I can run Streets 98 on the computer, if
I use the program compatibility wizard?

Any Help on this would be greatly appreciated....

Before installing it make a restore point using System Restore:

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore > create
a restore point

Call it "Before Streets98" or something like that .

Install Streets98.

Installed, you will now want to run the "Program Compatibility Assistant".

Start > Control Panel > if Control Panel is in "Classic View" switcht to
"Control Panel Home" > Programs > under the top item Programs and Features
click on "Use an older program with this version of Windows" > follow the
wizard ..

It can search for programs on your computer or you can direct it manually.
Try letting it do the search first and see it Streets98 shows up. Continue
through the wizard and select an older version of Windows such as Windows 98
and so on .. click any OKs etc. etc.

Ok,

Thank you... I will try that tonight when I go to her place.

I will let you know if that works.
