Strange Email Adding mistagged email address

TRying to find out how/why this is happennig.

External AOL user sends me an email, using (e-mail address removed). everything

(e-mail address removed);[email protected].

How is this happening? I am looking at the header and at some point this
occurs. Any clue - second time this has happened this week, from two
diffferent mail servers.
