Outlook sends email to the wrong address

My wife, while at work, uses as her email address an account set up in
gmail.com. She also has what I think of as her "real" email address that's
tied to our small company's domain. I use Outlook 2007, and two things have
been happening that I would like to fix.

First, when I reply to an email that my wife sends from her office downtown,
using her gmail address, the "To:" address shown on the messages on my screen
automatically switches to her "real" address. So, if she writes me as
(e-mail address removed), and I hit reply, the reply address suddenly becomes
(e-mail address removed).

If I manually change the address back to her gmail account and send it, it
instead gets routed to (e-mail address removed), nine times out of 10. On the
10th time, on average, the mail actually is sent to (e-mail address removed).

Why does OUtlook not permit me to send email to her at her gmail.com
account? What do I have to do to make that happen?

Have your wife check her Gmail account's settings to see if a
different Reply-To e-mail address is specified. Likewise, have her
check her e-mail account definition in Outlook to see what e-mail
address she has specified in BOTH the E-mail Address and Reply-To
fields. She might've specified the wrong ("real") e-mail address in
the E-mail Address field. Or she specified the right one in the
E-mail Address field but specified the wrong one in the Reply-To
field - and when you reply the Reply-To header overrides the From
header as to where you send your reply.
