Stop Outlook2003 from deleting Sent & Deleted Items automatically

How do I stop Outlook2003 from deleting Sent & Deleted Items automatically.
My auto archive settings are set for 30 days. I can't figure this out and
its frustrating.

Please Help

You might have Deleted Items configured to auto delete on exit. Tools |
Options | Other | Empty Deleted Items on Exiting.

As for Sent Items, right-click that folder and click Properties.
Double-check the AutoArchive settings and either turn it off for that folder
or...

For option 1: I don't have Empty Deleted Items on Exiting option selected.
So I'm not sure if thats the problem. Any other suggestions.

For option2: I do have AutoArchive checked and its scheduled to run every 14
days, however those items are not in my achive.pst file and it appears that
after 2-3 days all my sent items are completed deleted and they are not in
the Deleted Items Folder. I'll uncheck the AutoArchive option and see what
happens over the next few days.

Any other suggestions?
