HI there,
First, thank you for looking.
I have a toshiba laptop. os is win xp sp2. Its worth saying that I dont
remember doing anything unusal on my computer. I copies some files into my
external hard drive which connects through USB2 hub attached to my PCI card
slot.

now when I start my computer, it just keeps trying to logon and then restart
agin. If I press f8 button it gives me the advanced setup screen but when i
try safe modes, last known good configuration and virtually every othe
roption its still does the same thing. i.e restart itself but i never get to
my desktop screen. The only exception in the advanced setup window is when I
select disable automatic restart on system failure, then I will get the blue
scree with the following:

STOP: c000021a {fatal system error}
The Windows Logon Process system process terminated
unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000006 (0x00000000
0x00000000)
The system has been shut down.

Off course I can reformat my hard drive but I really want to access my data
before doing so. Is there anyway to rectify whatever happened or accessing my
data before reformatting the hard drive..??

Thank again for looking and helping.
