stationary?

Steve:

I am using Windows Vista Home Premium. I have all my IE7 settings changed
from the default to what I want them to be, especially for viewing stationery
in Windows Mail. Every time that I get some security updates or IE7 updates
from Microsoft, all my settings get changed back to what Microsoft wants them
to be. Is there any way to lock my settings so that Microsoft can't change
them when they send through the updates? It really is a nuisance and
time-consuming to always have to go back in and change them to what I want.

Hi Steve,

I was reading yours and Richard's thread on stationery and eots. I have
just purchased a laptop with Windows Vista on it, therefore, I am forced to
use Windows Mail. I cannot see applets or eots in my stationery groups. I
have the latest version of Sun Java installed. When I click on an applet I
get a message to install an addon in IE. However, when I click the install,
Windows will not allow it to insall. Really hope you are able to help me
work this one out.

Thanks,
Sunshine

Why did you send me a notice that I had a reply to my message. Noone has
replied to it? The message is below and I still would like an answer.

I guess that's one of the results of hijacking a thread started by someone else.
Unfortunately, very few of the regular responders have expertise in stationery,
so you may have to wait a while for a response.

Sunshine didn't send you anything. Reply in your own thread.

I resent your saying I hijacked anything. That certainly isn't helpful. I
didn't say "Sunshine" sent me anything. I just received an email response
that said someone had replied to my question, so your software is screwed up
there also. I tried to start a new thread back then, but your software
wouldn't allow me to do that. Please notice that I wanted help on this on
12/18/2007. Did it really take that long to reply -- 10 months????? Your
attitude (both Gary and Frank) really stinks and is in no way helpful. Shame

To whom are you "speaking"? This is just a peer to peer support group, not
Microsoft.

And I haven't seen Steve on here in months....
