In MSCONFIG STARTUP what is the command for the ,Safely REMOVE HARDWARE,
icon to appear in the system tray ?

If missing how to re-install the program.

There isn't one in msconfig. Plug something in to a USB port.

If you have an USB device attached to your system, you will notice an icon
in the Notification area, which - when clicked - will give you the option to
Stop your hardware, before you unplug it.

Oh, maybe it's set to Always Hide?

Right click the Taskbar | Properties |
Taskbar tab | Customize button | Look for SAFELY REMOVE HARDWARE | Set to:
Always Show or Hide When Inactive.

It does not appear there. It is loaded up (usually) when you plug in a
USB device that might need its services to close down data flow tidily
before pulling the plug.
