Start Menu Position

After restarting, my start menu moved vertical position
covering the left portion of the desktop. Anyone know
how to put it across the bottom again?

Right click on taskbar, uncheck: lock the taskbar. Left click on task bar
and hold, drag to bottom of screen, release left click, lock the taskbar
again.

That's not the "Start Menu" that's the "Task Bar".

I assume you mean the "Task Bar." Although by default the task
bar appears on the bottom of the screen, it can be on any of the
sides you prefer it on. To move it from any side to another,
simply click on an unused part of it and drag it where you want
it.

If it won't move, it may be locked. In that case, right click on
it and uncheck "Lock the taskbar," then try again.
