SR "Remote Assist. Entry Point

I am trying to do a system restore & get this message :Remote Assistance
Prepare System Restore could not be located in the dynamic link library
WINSTA.dll restrul.exe Entry Point not found". I recently had to reinstall
Windows XP home version. Now that my computer is working well, I don't have
the System Restore feature to create this "good" restore point. Can you help?

Boot to Safe Mode (F8 on restart)
Open My Computer, and then open the C:\Windows\INF folder.
Right-click the sr.inf file, and then click Install.
Restart Windows.
