Jake

During startup of XP the following message comes up.
WiseUpdate Client could not locate an associated
application to update. When opening system restore the
following message is displayed. The procedure entry point
remote assistance prepare system restore could not be
located in the dynamic link library WINSTA.DLL

Also a RSTRUI.EXE file is needed. Reloading XP does not
solve the problem. What need to be done

Thanks

Hi Jake, hope this helps

Entry Point Not Found:
The procedure entry point RemoteAssistancePrepareSystemRestore could not be located
in the Dynamic Link Library winsta.dll
Do a search for the sr.inf file which is normally located in C:\windows. Make sure
you search hidden files in your search criteria.
Right-click on the sr.inf file and select the install option - you may need your
WinXP CD.
