is it possible to restore spyware once its been removed
as my fire wall no longer functions after removing a
moderate risc (new.net,inc browser plugin) any help would
be appreciated

The issue with the firewall and the Internet connection is
easily resolved:

If you are on Windows XP Service Pack 2, Please type this
at a command prompt:

netsh winsock reset

Hit the enter key, then restart the machine.

For Windows 2000, Pre SP2 versions of XP, or for Windows
Server 2003 pre sp1, follow the procedure in this
