Spybot Search & Destroy - Mouse freezes

Hi,
after following given advice here, I installed
the new Version of Spybot Search & Destroy.
But even while installing, Problems started.

Then Mouse and later windows freezes.
Anyone else heard of those problems?
Google knows of none.

Maybe just a coincidence, Opera had been
updated just a few days before.

Do you have spybot tea timer running?.An older version had a memory problem
where it would consume huge amounts of memory and cpu power and literally
bring pcs to a standstill.Use process explorer (under utilities) to see
whether teatimer is using all the cpu..

Just using the spybot scanner uses huge amount of resources to and can cause
problems on a 95/8 machine so shut a few progs down before running.The
latest version of teatimer shouldnt cause any problems though and can be run
without any problems.Another thing that can happen is where you have an
antivirus to scan thourougly "all files" and then scan with spybot.The two
can sometimes cause conflicts.This happens on my own machine if i have avast
av on a thourogh scan when also scanning with spybot.Check with process
explorer first to see whats using all the cpu.
