Spybot Search & Destroy slow to open

Running Widows XP Pro, 1.2 GHz cpu, 768 mb memory, IE 7.0, AVG 7.5, Ad-aware
2007, SpywareBlaster and Spybot Search & Destroy security programs.
My machine appears to be OK, however it takes a very long time, maybe 30
seconds for Spybot S&D to open from my desktop. During that period the Task
Manager shows CPU usage at 98%. All other security programs open rapidly. I
removed and reinstalled Spybot but this did not help. Is this normal? If not
what can I do to fix it? Thanks for the advice and help..

Immunization turned on?
It is probably checking the 30,000+ immunizations and on a machine that
slow, it is noticable.

Thanks for responding. When I click on immuniztion it shows 50237 as
unproteced and 0 protected.This would appear to indicate immunization is off
? Should I just accept this long delay when attemting to do an update ?
