Spybot 1.53 causes System-Freezes

Hi,

even during installation of Spybot 1.53 problems started.
Mouse and system-freezes, even sudden restarts followed.
Spybot never did anything like that before. (WinXP now)

Did Anyone else have trouble? I decided to un install for
this time - now everything seems ok.......

AFAIK the latest version of Spybot Search & Destroy is 1.3. Where did
you obtain version 1.53 from?

The install file for Spybot 1.53 is a fake because the latest REAL version
of Spybot is 1.3. Remove version "1.53" and perform a full virus scan with
whichever antivirus program you have. Then using the provided links below
install Spybot 1.3 as well as the other spyware scanners listed. Also make
sure that you perform full spyware scans with EVERY program you install from
the list below.
