While Microsoft's spyware Beta has removed some of the bugs related to these
scams, it hasn't fixed the problem of my hijacked browser home page.

Somewhere there's some buried code that directs the browser to
"yoursystemupdate.com", even though my browser is set to default to
google.com. Even if I type in google.com in the address line, it goes to
"yoursystemupdate".

Now -- and this may be a clue to fixing the problem -- if I enter
"yoursystemupdate.com" as the default home page, I can get to google.com. So,
it appears that the code watches for whatever is entered as the default home
page, and redirects to "yoursystemupdate".

Anyone know how to find and eliminate that redirect code?
