spinning disc icon

I recently succeeded in finishing GTA vice city game, but when I try to play
again I just get a spinning disc icon on the mouse pointer and it stays there
untill I close down and restart my PC. Other CDs work OK.

That seems to be a question about the game not WindowsXP. You'll be more
likely to get help going to a relevant group or the publishers website.

May not be the game but the cd. Try it on another machine.
