Is there a more suitable NG for this?

How do Windows NT, 2000 and XP Pro running on
identical hardware (eg C1700, 512MB RAM) compare
for speed when used as a gateway/router?

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this, but I don't think the OS is as important
as the hardware for the purposes you are discussing. I would expect little
or no difference in performance if the OSs you mentioned were installed on
identical platforms.
