I keep getting the tag (spam)before the subject on incoming email. This
happens on nearly every incoming email including email from microsoft. How do
I stop that from appearing? example: [SPAM] Reset your Windows Live ID
password

A few ideas for you....

Turn off or uninstall whatever SPAM software you have on the PC. This is
not Outlook. You have some extra software running. It is doing its job
though isn't it - spotting what it thinks may be SPAM?

Find out what software it is and how to teach it what isn't SPAM.

If you're on a network, ask the administrator what software it is and how to
fix your issue.

Knowledge is of two kinds. We know a subject ourselves, or we know where we
can find information on it.

Thank you Judy. I think it must be at the ISP then. I'm currently hunting
done the problem with them but I am now certain it isn't in Outlook.

That is not Outlook's doing, but your mailserver's; check with your mail
admin.
