spam being forwarded, not deleted

On one office computer running Outlook 2000 SR-1 9.0.0.4527, incoming spam is
being forwarded, not deleted. I have gone completely through the Rules, but
it shows spam to be deleted, not forwarded. It does not appear that it is
related to the sender either, it happens randomly from various senders. Has
anyone seen this before? Ideas and suggestions? Thanks.

Just a guess, but I think that it is sort of a crap shoot in versions earlier
than 2007 whether rules (and macros) are invoked before or after the item is
added to the inbox. I know that for VBA code, in 2007, spam is definitely
filtered out before the mailitem gets to my code; in 2003, not the case.

Thanks for the input, Ron. It appears that 2000 is the same as 2003, nothing
until after it hits the inbox. I also checked to make sure there were no
macros I wasn't aware of.
