Just download SP2 on my system.
I installed Far Cry v1.1 with SP1 before. I notice after installation of
SP2 a drop in frame rate with that game, whatever the resolution change.
Even when using QuickTime 6.5.1 with a movie trailers (*.mov) of the Matrix
for testing. Games & trailers seem slower than before even with 1GB in my
system.
My system :
CPU: Pentium 4-2.8 GHz E Processor OEM
Motherboard: Intel D865PERL
Memory: 2x Kingston 512 MB CL2 KHX3200A/512
Hard Drive: Two Western Digital 120 GB SATA, 7200 RPM w/ 8-MB Cache
Video Card: ATI Radeon 9800 PRO 128 megs
Monitor: LCD Benq FP757-12ms (1280x1024 native)
Sound Card: Intel SoundMax onboard
Speakers: Logitech Z-2200
CD/DVD-RW: Lite-on SOHO 52x/32x/52x +DVD 16X
Modem: US Robotics 56KBPS
Keyboard/Mouse: combo Logitech MX Duo /MX700 Optical Mouse
Operating System: Windows XP Pro w/ SP2
What would be the solution on boosting my lost frame rate when using
PowerDVD 4.0 or QuickTime ?
Just want the advantage of security with SP2 and the performance I add
before with SP1 on my LCD...
