Hi all,
Weird one here.
Laptop running XP Pro SP1
VPN into corporate network running SBS2000
Avaya IP Office PBX on SBS internal LAN range
Run IP softphone from laptop connecting to IP Office - works fine
Upgrade to SP2
Now when we VPN in and then run the softphone, although it connects fine and
outgoing audio is fine, incoming audio is really choppy and unusable - this
is depsite our switching the SP2 firewall off entirely and
uninstalling/reinstalling the IP softphone on the laptop
Only thing I can think is that *something* has changed in SP2 that is
affecting VPN operation and causing delays on incoming traffic
Realise its a bit vague but wondering if anyone has any experience/thoughts
on this?
Cheers,
David
