Hey, Iam new here and Ive read a few things and used google and I just cant
figure this out, its driving me nuts as a muscican.

My little speaker icon at the bottom right oh the screen "the task bar" or
what ever its called, just disaperred one day. I dont know why, maybe I
unistalled the wrong thing when I was trying to delete old programs off my
computer. But now its gone!

If I try to play a audio file with windows media player (Iam pretty sure its
version 10) it says stuff like "no sound device was found -- connected) or no
mixer was found. Now the most annoying part is, there is no sound.. but when
there is suppose to be a sound, my computer BEEPS! its insane I have no
speakers plugged in your anything and its very very irriating. Please help me
I beg you I miss my music.

ps- sorry for my spelling and computer ignorance thanks!

The whole situation may be corrected by doing a system restore.
Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
To get the sound icon back, try here:
Start>Control Panel>Sound and Audio>tick "place sound icon in taskbar".
You state "I have no speakers plugged in your anything", how do you expect
to get sound if your speakers are not plugged in? Check if they are plugged
in and in the correct jack, not the microphone jack. Repost for additional
info
or if you have corrected the situation. Happy putering. :~)
