Sorting Internet Explorer 6.0 Favorites in Alphabetical Order (Article 307719)

Using IE v6.0.2800.11061C under Windows 98, I have
followed the instructions as posted in this article but
when I right click on an icon in Favorites, the list box
that appears says:
Open
Create new folder
Print
Edit
Make available off line
Send to
Cut
Copy
Delete
Rename
Properties

No where does it say "Sort by Name"

So, I thought I might not have version 6.0 so I went to
help/about
and the version I have is 6.0.2800.11061C

Any other suggestions?

Your copy of IE came from Your Internet Content Provider. Check with them.

Determining Which Version of Internet Explorer You Are Using
All versions of Internet Explorer 5 that are customized with Microsoft
Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK) include one of the following
strings after the version number when you click About on the Help menu:
IC = Internet Content Provider
IS = Internet Service Provider
CO = Corporate Administrator

One thing to try is to do a repair.
Add/Remove Programs/MS/IE repair...
