sony cyber-shot

My windows xp upgrade won't recognize my sony cyber-shot
digital camera.I had the camera tested at the store
and I olso tested the camera at work on win.xp and it
worked fine, here at home nothing. My u.s.b.port works
ok because it recognizes my Logiteck Web Camera.
What i'm i missing? What i'm doing wrong.

I had a similar problem with my new Pentax 450 - USB
working, devices OK but no access via My Computer.

Then I was advised to go here, lots of support

And answered the same problem - no drive letters
available between last physical drive and the 1st network
drive. At least that was my problem. Good luck!

I solved this problem by setting the camera USB mode to
PTP. Access via camera setup menu.
